I have one computer in this house that can take the install, but I wanted the software on my laptop for remote work as well, and it's got plenty of juice, but falls just short of the hardware cutoff for Win 11 (my CPU, which obviously can't be upgraded in a laptop). I'm sure there's some kind of rationale here, and by and large, I have been, and remain, a faithful fan of Affinity's work, but this is quite a blow. I don't understand why your software build targets such a recent version of Windows, considering Win 11 cannot yet nearly compete in terms of market coverage with Win 10. This is pretty crappy, locking this software behind such a recent OS release. I checked for similar issues in the Forum and saw a thread about color management. I un-installed and re-installed all 3 programs and its still a problem. I get the splash screen for a few seconds then it disappears. I've tried installing from the installer, claims I need 1.0 but Windows Update will not offer me that update. Since I installed the latest version of all 3 programs none of them will start. I've tried installing from MS Store, it says I "own it" but won't install. This above one for example has '1021 pages' describing all aspects of 'Affinity Photo Desktop & iPad' and fulfills the needs of a (by Affinity itself missing) reference manual. I'm mainly adding this comment to follow for updates when we can get a real installer, instead of broken down MSIX crap. None of these suggestions are working for me.
